Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a project take?
A landing page usually runs 1-2 weeks. A full multi-page site is more like 3-6 weeks. A custom web app depends on scope — we'll pin down a real timeline together during the discovery call, before anything's billed.
Do you build e-commerce or handle payments?
Yes — I've shipped real Stripe billing and subscription checkout in production (BotChase). I don't build on Shopify or WooCommerce; if you need to take payments, I build that logic custom into the site or app.
I already have a designer or brand guidelines — can you work with that?
Absolutely. I'll build to your existing brand, fonts, and design files. If you don't have any of that yet, I can design the direction from scratch as part of the build.
Who owns the code and the site after launch?
You do — full source code, no proprietary platform, no lock-in. You can host it yourself, hand it to another developer, or keep me on for ongoing support. Your call.
How does payment work?
Typically a deposit to start and the balance on delivery; larger builds get split into milestones. Exact terms are spelled out in the proposal before any work begins — no surprise invoices.
I don't know exactly what I need yet — is that a problem?
Not at all — that's what the discovery call is for. Most clients start with a rough idea and a goal, not a spec. We'll figure out the right scope together.
